Travel through the beautiful Swiss countryside before arriving in the famous resort town of Interlaken, nestled between two crystal-clear lakes and surrounded by magnificent mountain peaks.

In Interlaken, you’ll have approximately 1 hour of free time to explore the town at your own pace, stroll along the famous Höheweg, enjoy the Alpine atmosphere, visit a café or simply take in the beautiful surrounding scenery.

Continue to the charming Alpine village of Grindelwald, where you’ll have at least 4 hours of free time. Explore the village, visit local cafés and shops, enjoy optional mountain activities, or simply admire the breathtaking scenery beneath the legendary Eiger North Face. The extended free time allows you to choose how active or relaxed you would like your Grindelwald experience to be.

The journey continues to the enchanting Lauterbrunnen Valley, where you’ll have approximately 1 hour to discover one of Switzerland’s most beautiful mountain villages. Surrounded by towering cliffs, traditional chalets, lush meadows and famous waterfalls, Lauterbrunnen offers a wonderful opportunity to stroll through the village, take unforgettable photographs and experience the peaceful beauty of the Bernese Alps before returning to Zurich.

          What should I bring?

          We recommend comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a light jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and a camera or smartphone to capture the spectacular scenery.

          Is this tour suitable during winter?

          Yes. The Bernese Alps are beautiful throughout the year. Snow-covered landscapes in winter and green Alpine meadows in summer each offer a unique Swiss experience.

          Will the tour operate in rainy weather?

          If a tour must be cancelled due to severe weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen operational circumstances, we will first offer an alternative date, subject to your agreement. If no mutually acceptable alternative can be arranged, you will receive a full refund.

          Wonderful experience! We had such a lovely day with Zurich Day Tour. Maria was warm, knowledgeable and made sure everyone knew what to see and where to go, while Enver was an excellent and very kind driver. They make a great team and made us feel comfortable throughout the journey. We had plenty of time to enjoy Grindelwald and loved the beautiful stops in Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

          Amazing day in the Swiss Alps! We had a wonderful experience with Zurich Day Tour. The trip was very well organized, and our guide was friendly, helpful and informative throughout the day. What we especially loved was having plenty of free time in Grindelwald to explore at our own pace. Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen were beautiful too. The bus was comfortable and the whole day felt relaxed rather than rushed. Definitely recommended!

          To be honest, everything was great. It was a smooth and enjoyable trip. Our tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave us detailed information and even advised us on how to make the best use of our time. I would therefore like to thank her for all her help. Our driver also did an excellent job. He drove very well and was always friendly and helpful. We left at the agreed time and arrived exactly on schedule. Overall, I can say that it was a really enjoyable and satisfying day.
