Every Day
Journey through the Bernese Alps with a scenic return via the breathtaking Lauterbrunnen Valley.
Jungfrau, Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen Alpine Trip
Journey through the Bernese Alps, experience Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, and return through the breathtaking Lauterbrunnen Valley.
Discover the spectacular Jungfrau Region on a full-day Alpine adventure departing from Zurich, with the convenience of an optional pickup in Lucerne.
Travel through the beautiful Swiss countryside into the heart of the Bernese Oberland, where snow-capped peaks, turquoise lakes, traditional villages and dramatic Alpine landscapes accompany you throughout the day.
Your journey is more than transportation. During the road trip, enjoy a guided panoramic bus tour, with your tour guide sharing information about Switzerland, the landscapes, mountains, villages and places you pass along the way.
Interlaken – Approx. 1 Hour Free Time
Your first major stop is Interlaken, the famous Alpine resort town beautifully situated between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz and surrounded by the mountains of the Bernese Oberland.
Enjoy approximately one hour of free time to discover the town at your own pace. Stroll along the famous Höheweg, admire the Alpine scenery, browse local shops, stop for a coffee, or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere of one of Switzerland’s best-known mountain destinations.
Before your free time begins, your guide will provide practical information, orientation and suggestions to help you make the most of your visit.
Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe – Approx. 4.5-Hour Experience
Continue to Grindelwald Terminal, where your unforgettable journey into the high Alps begins.
The approximately 4.5-hour Jungfraujoch experience includes the complete mountain ascent and descent, transfers between mountain transportation, and approximately 2.5 hours at Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe.
Part of the journey is an experience in itself. Enjoy an approximately 30-minute panoramic round trip aboard the modern Eiger Express cable car, travelling between Grindelwald Terminal and Eigergletscher while enjoying spectacular views across the surrounding Alpine landscape.
From Eigergletscher, continue aboard the legendary Jungfrau Railway, climbing through the mountains toward Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe.
At Jungfraujoch, your tour guide accompanies the group, helping you navigate the attractions and make the most of your approximately 2.5 hours at this extraordinary high-Alpine destination.
Discover the spectacular glacier landscape, snow-covered peaks and breathtaking panoramic views from one of Switzerland’s most remarkable locations.
Your Eiger Express cable car and Jungfrau Railway tickets are included in the tour price, so there are no additional mountain transportation tickets to purchase for this part of your journey.
Scenic Descent to Lauterbrunnen
Rather than simply returning along the same route, your Alpine adventure continues with a beautiful scenic descent toward Lauterbrunnen Valley.
Travel down by the Jungfrau Railway, experiencing another perspective of the Bernese Alps as you make your way toward one of Switzerland’s most celebrated mountain valleys.
Lauterbrunnen – Approx. 1 Hour Free Time
Arrive in Lauterbrunnen, a spectacular Alpine village surrounded by towering cliffs, traditional Swiss chalets, green meadows and dramatic waterfalls.
Enjoy approximately one hour of free time to explore the village at your own pace.
Walk through the charming village, admire the famous Staubbach Falls, discover the traditional church and surrounding scenery, take photographs, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Lauterbrunnen Valley.
Before your free time begins, your guide will provide orientation and suggestions so that you can explore independently and comfortably.
After your visit to Lauterbrunnen, rejoin your bus and begin the return journey. Guests finishing their tour in Lucerne will be dropped off there before the journey continues back to Zurich.
