Unlike our scheduled group tours, every private journey is designed exclusively for your group. Whether you dream of exploring the majestic Swiss Alps, charming mountain villages, crystal-clear lakes, historic cities, cultural landmarks, or nearby European destinations, we work closely with you to create an itinerary that reflects your interests, travel style, pace, and preferences.

Most private journeys are designed as one-day or two-day experiences, with destinations throughout Switzerland and selected nearby European regions. Longer itineraries can also be arranged upon request.

When submitting your request, you may select your preferred travel date. Please note that your selected date is considered a booking request only and does not constitute a confirmed reservation. We will review availability and contact you to discuss your itinerary before confirming your journey.

To begin planning your personalized experience, an Initial Journey Planning Fee of CHF 99 per group is required. This planning fee allows us to review your request, discuss your travel ideas, research destinations, design your customized itinerary, and reserve dedicated planning time for your journey.

Please note that the CHF 99 Journey Planning Fee does not guarantee your requested travel date. Your booking will be confirmed only after availability has been reviewed and mutually agreed upon by both parties.

If your requested date is unavailable and no suitable alternative can be arranged, your CHF 99 Journey Planning Fee will be refunded in full.

Once your private journey is confirmed, the CHF 99 Journey Planning Fee will be fully credited toward the final cost of your journey.

    • - Advance booking is required. Same-day bookings may not be available.
    • - Free cancellation is available up to 2 days before departure.
    • - No refunds are provided for no-shows, missed departures, or unused portions of the tour.
    • - A non-refundable Journey Design Fee may apply to customized private journeys when you agree to design.
    • - Tour schedules, routes, and timings may be adjusted due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.
    • - Optional activities, attraction tickets, cable cars, meals, and personal expenses are not included unless specifically stated.
    • - Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated pickup location on time.
    • - Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
    • - Zurich Day Tour reserves the right to cancel a tour due to severe weather, safety concerns, operational reasons, or insufficient participation. In such cases, an alternative date with the guest's agreement, travel credit, or refund will be offered as well.
    • - Participation in outdoor and travel activities is undertaken at the guest's own responsibility, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
    • - By booking this tour, guests agree to the full Terms & Conditions published on the Zurich Day Tour website.
